Pengertian Object Oriented Analysis
Menurut Mathiassen, Madsen,
Nielsen dan Stage (2000, p5): “Analysis
objects describe phenomena outside the system, such as people and things, which
are
typically
independent.
Although
we cannot
always
command
them
we
must
register the events they perform or experience”.
Menurut Mathiassen, Madsen, Nielsen dan Stage (2000, p13): “Analysis
means an activity in which some item is taken apart and described”.
Menurut
Britton dan Doake
(2001, p265):
“Analysis is one of the stages
of the development life cycle. Analysis involves investigation into and modelling of
both the problem and the developing system”.
Menurut
Whitten,
Bentley
dan
Dittman
(2004,
p430): “The
approach
of
using object modeling during system analysis and design is called object-oriented
analysis (OOA)”.
Berdasarkan pendapat-pendapat diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis
berorientasi objek adalah suatu pendekatan untuk menemukan dan
menggambarkan object selama menganalisa sistem.

Pengertian Object Oriented Design
Menurut Britton dan Doake (2001, p266): “Design is the stage in object
oriented system development where the architecture of the system is determined:
how
the
system
as
a
whole
is
to
be
organized
into smaller,
more
manageable
components or subsystems”.
Menurut Mathiassen, Madsen, Nielsen, dan Stage (2005, p13),
“Design is
a constructive activity in which known parts are put together in a new way”.
