Hubungan antar komponen COBIT
According to
Gelinas and Dull
(2008, p247), IT resources must be managed by
IT control process to ensure that an organization has the information it needs to achieve
its objectives. COBIT thus supports IT governance by providing a framework to ensure
that:
a) IT
is
aligned
with
the
business;
b) IT
enables
the
business
and
maximizes
benefits; c) IT resources are used responsibly; d) IT risks are managed appropriately.
According to Moeller (2008, p122), IT processes and their supporting software
applications
and
hardware
devices are key activities in
any modern enterprise today.
Whether a
small
retail
business,
with
a
need to
keep track
of
its
inventory
and
pay
employees,
or
an
large
enterprise, all
need a
wide
set
of
interconnected
and
often
complex IT processes that are closely tied to their business operations. (COBIT
