2.1.9.5 Pengertian Use Case
Menurut Satzinger, et al
(2010, p160), “Use case is an
activity the system performs, usually in response to a request by a
user. The term use case originated with the object-oriented
approach”, yang terjemahannya : Use case adalah kegiatan
yang
sistem lakukan, biasanya
dalam menanggapi
permintaan
oleh
pengguna. Istilah use case
berasal dari
pendekatan
berorientasi
objek.
Menurut Shelly & Rosenblatt (2012, p259), “A use case
represents the steps in a specific business function or process. An
external entity, called an actor, initiates a use case by requesting
the system to perform a function or process”, yang
terjemahannya: Sebuah use case
merepresentasikan
langkah-
langkah dalam
fungsi
bisnis yang spesifik
atau
proses. Sebuah entitas eksternal, yang disebut aktor, memulai use
case
dengan meminta sistem untuk melakukan fungsi atau proses.
Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan
bahwa Use case
merupakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan
oleh sistem yang berorientasi objek dan dilakukan oleh actor
dengan memanggil fungsi pada sistem tersebut.
2.1.9.6 Pengertian Response
Menurut Satzinger, et al (2010, p169), “Response is an
output from the system. When the
system produces transaction
summary reports, those reports are the ouputs. One use case can
generate several responses. For example, when the system creates
a new order, an order confirmation goes to the customer, order
details go to shipping, and a record of the transaction goes to the
bank”, yang terjemahannya : Response adalah output dari sistem.
Ketika sistem menghasilkan laporan ringkasan transaksi, laporan
tersebut merupakan output. Satu use case
dapat menghasilkan
beberapa response. Contohnya, ketika sistem membuat pesanan
baru, maka konfirmasi pesanan akan diberikan kepada pelanggan,
