1.4 Thesis Objectives
Business
process
for
Integrated
Business
Process
Modeling
(BPM)
should
be
defined as guidance for Enterprise Integration Application (EIA) implementation.
Currently, business processes related to business application have not been written in
any manual documentation within EMPKL. New business process is expected to be
built
to
guide
the
assessment
in
the
pre- implementation
stage,
implementation
stage
and post implementation stage. Business processes defined in this thesis are as inputs
for
EMPKL
to
gain all
the aims of
Enterprise
Integrated
ERP
Application project
to
get the
automated,
controllable
and
auditable
business
applications.
A
Middle
ware
application
is
required
to
link
each
ERP
modular
entities
creating
the automated,
controllable, manageable and auditable integrated business process.
Throughout
this
thesis,
guidance
is
setup
for
supporting
the
implementing
Enterprise Integrated ERP Application project by doing following steps:
Analyzing
current
business
process
related
to
the
current
ERP
modules
in
EMPKL
(FAS,
HRIS
and
MMIS)
in
terms
in
roles
and
responsibilities
of
its
stakeholders.
Identifying the backlog processes cause back and forth process result in long
process.
Identifying whether those backlog processes can be reduced by using e-Workflow
implementation through
Enterprise Integrated ERP Application.
