Navigation Models
There are plenty of novel navigation models for mobile
app. If a developer is going to use one of common
navigation models, be sure to pick the one that makes
the most sense for the application.
Three type of models:

None: Single screen utility apps (ie Weather app)
2.
Tab bar: Three to six distinct content areas
(i.e.twitter)
3.
Drill down: List and detail content hierarchy
(i.e.setting app on Android)

Typing stinks and tedious even on the best devices, so
the developer needs to make it easier for users.

Gestures
One of the most iconic aspects of modern touch
interfaces is that they support gesture-based user
interaction. As cool as gestures are, there are several
things to be considered:

Invisible: Gestures are invisible, so discovery is
an issue. Developers have to decide how to
reveal their existence to the user.
