There are four types of actor:
1.
Primary business actor
The stakeholder that primarily benefits from
the execution of the use case by receiving
something of measurable value. The
primary business actor may not initiate the
business event.
2.
Primary system actor
The stakeholder that directly interfaces with
the system to initiate the business or system
event. Primary system actors may interact
with the primary business actors for the
purpose of using the actual system.
3.
External server actor
The stakeholder that responds to a request
from the use case.
4.
External receiver actor
The stakeholder that is not the primary actor
but receives something of measurable value
form the use case.
