application

portion
of
the
application,
which runs on the user desktop PC. Client processing includes the user interface,
data input, database query, report generation, graphics processing for information
display, local data storage, screen caching and other personal productivity
application (Watson, Houdeshel, Rainer, JR, 1997 p.144).
