Sometimes users might suggest additional requirements which are
desirable but not essential.
However,
users
and
analysts
must
ask
themselves
again
which
functions are truly
important and
which are
fairly
important.
Unless
the
analyst carefully evaluates priorities, system requirements tend to
expand as users make more suggestions (also known as scope creep).
Prototype for feasibility and discovery.
Creating prototypes d uring
system analysis can
help
us
to better
understand the users needs. The prototypes are not meant to be fully
functional, but to test the feasibility of certain approach to the business
requirement. This kind of prototypes is called discovery prototypes.
The
function
of
prototypes
is
used
to
demonstrate
the
new
systems
work flow. In giving a new system, if in the system there is a changing
business process, it also changes to the user. Hence, the prototype will
help
to
discover
anomalies
and
requirements that the users and the
analysts havent thought about before.
After analyses phase, as the Analyst, we doing system design. System design is
the
process
of
describing,
organizing,
and
structuring
the
components
of
a
system
at
both
the
architectural
level
and
a
detailed
level
