First, the writer watches the movie “The Shawshank Redemption”
by Frank
Darabont and tries to understand the events which build the story of movie. The writer
uses qualitative method which focuses on library research in order to collect the theories
through some literary books. The writer also uses the internet as an additional source
such as; Google Scholar, Binus library, and the like. The previous research of study of
