2.1.1.1 Pengertian Sistem Informasi Akuntansi
Menurut Jones dan Rama (2006, p5) “The Accounting
information system
is
a
subsystem
of
an
MIS
that
provides
accounting and financial information, as wel as other information
obtained in the routine processing of accounting transaction”.
Artinya
sistem informasi
akuntansi
adalah
bagian
dari
sistem
informasi
manajemen
atau
MIS yang
menyediakan
informasi
mengenai akuntansi dan keuangan, seperti informasi-informasi
lainnya yang didapatkan dari proses transaksi akuntansi rutin.
Menurut
Romney
(2006,
p6),
“Accounting information
system is the human and capital resources within an organization
that responsible for the preparation of financial information and
the information obtained from the collecting and processing
company
transaction”. Artinya
sistem informasi
akuntansi
adalah
sumber
daya
manusia
dan
modal
dalam
sebuah
organisasi
yang
