case, dimana actor adalah suatu abstraksi dari user atau sistem lain yang berinteraksi
dengan sistem target. Sedangkan use case adalah suatu pola untuk interaksi sistem
dan actor.
2.1.6 Activity Diagram
“Activity diagram is a diagram that can be used to graphically depict the flow
of a business process, the steps of use case, or the logic of an object behavior
(method).” Dikutip dari Whitten (2004:450), Activity diagram adalah suatu diagram
yang dapat digunakan untuk menggambarkan secara grafik aliran suatu proses bisnis,
langkah-langkah dari use-case, atau logika sikap dari suatu objek (metode).
“The UML activity diagram plays the role of a “map” in understanding
business process by showing the sequence of activities in the process.”
Jones dan
Rama (2006:60).
Jones and Rama (2006:61) organize activity diagrams into two types :
1.
The overview diagram presents a high-level view of the business process by
documenting the key events, the sequence of these events, and the information
flows among these events.
2.
The detailed diagram is similar to a map of a city or town. It provides a more
detailed representation of the activities associated with one or two events shown
on the overview diagram.
