Testing
According to Pressman (2010:76), the unit tests that have
been created should be implemented using a framework that
enables them to be automated so that they could be done
repeatedly. Therefore, it is encouraged to use regression testing
strategy whenever code is modified.
As the individual unit tests are organized into a “universal
testing suite”, integration and validation testing of the system can
occur on a daily basis. This provides the XP team with a
continual indication of progress and gives an alert whenever error
occurs, because fixing errors frequently is faster than fixing
errors near the deadline. XP acceptance tests are created by the
customer. The test will focus on overall system performance
costumer can review and assess. Acceptance tests are made from
the user stories that have been implemented as part of a software
release.
