Rating is the audience of a particular program or station at a specific period (min

minute) of time expressed as a percent of the audience population. For
example
Rating % = HH tuned into the TV shows / total population TV households
Ratings can be added as
long as they
have the same base (i.e.
the same
geographic area).
Ratings are duplicated reach estimates.
TV usually uses the audience population as TV Households.
