graphics

become

mostly
used
format
for
the
images
and
animations
in
the
game.
Not only
it can
reduce
the size of the
file,
it can also runs
faster since
vector
graphics do
not consume a
lot of
memory when we play the game.
2.3 Design Tools
2.3.1 Adobe Illustrator
One of
the
applications that
are
used to
create and
edit
vector
graphics
is
Adobe
Illustrator
CS4.
In
this
application,
Adobe
provides
lots
of
drawing
tools
and
features
designed specifically to aid graphic designers to creatively design their products.
In Adobe illustrator, sets of useful drawing tools are provided. Tools
like
lasso,
magic pen, selection direct
selection, etc. are
used
to
select parts
of the image that we want to choose without selecting unnecessary parts.
Another
set
of
tools
like
pen,
text,
line,
shape,
paintbrush,
pencil
etc.
are
used
to
draw
shapes
and
input
texts
to
the
stage.
These
tools
are
mainly used to create the basic design of the image.
Rotate, scale, wrap,
free transform, etc. tools are used to
modify
the
form of the image designed earlier by using the second tool sets.
