Madlow (1972) noted that those direct behavioral signs are assaultive,
aggression and also hurtful. First, for assaultive, the explanation is about the
physical and verbal cruelty, rage, slapping, shoving, kicking, hitting, threaten
with a knife or gun, etc. Second, for aggression, it is about overly critical, fault
finding, name-calling, accusing someone of having immoral or despicable traits
or motives, nagging, whining, sarcasm, prejudice and flashes of temper. Third,
for the
hurtful, it is about malicious gossip, stealing and trouble-making. Last,
for the rebellious, it is about anti-social behavior, open defiance, and refusal to
talk (as stated on Psychological Self Help organization, 2013, p. 8). So, those
things become the basis for the writer to choose which one is the anger scene.
