Analysis phase
The primary objective of the analysis
phase
is
to
understand
and
document
the
business needs and the processing requirements of the new system. In this phase,
models and other documentation tools to visualize and describe the proposed system
is used [15].
Design phase
The objective of design phase is to design the solution system based on the
requirements defined and decisions made during analysis. Design phase consists of
many activities such as
designing
the
network,
application
architecture,
user
and
system interface, database, prototype, and system controls [14].
Implementation phase
During
the
implementation
phase, the
final system
is built,
tested and
installed. The
system
design
specification
serves
as
a
blueprint
for
constructing
the
new
system
[15].
2.2.2 Requirement Determination
The purpose of requirement determination step
is to turn
the very high- level explanation
of
the
business
requirements
in
a
more
precise
list
of
requirements
that can be used as
input to the
rest of the analysis phase
