There are six types of ATM security, these
include:
Physical Security
Physical security comprised of protecting the ATM physically. This includes

machine

be

opening
the
cash
vault

machine,
and other physical attacks that aim to get the cash inside the machine.
Transactional Integrity & Security
Integrity refers
to the
terms that property can be
modified only by authorized parties
or only in authorized ways, or in other words, preventing improper or unauthorized
change by unauthorized parties. Therefore transactional integrity and security in
ATM
means
that
the
machine
should
ensure
that
all
the
transactional
activities
can
only be done by
the
true owner of the account or
someone else that
has been
given
the power to do so.
Device operation and security
This security considers matters regarding the functionality of the ATM machine. The
ATM owners and operators have to secure and ensure that the machines can operate
