Customer Identity Security
ATM operators are obviously responsible for protecting the customer identity,
account
information, and personal data of their customer. ATM should be protected
from the threats of stealing customer identity such as attempt to steal customers PIN
and ATM card information in order to gain unauthorized access to their accounts.
Customer Safety at the ATM
Not only the
machine
that should be protected, what
is
more
important
is protecting
the customer it self. Many facilities regarding the customers security has been
experimented such as: mirrors, better lightning, emergency call buttons, video
surveillance, and other devices intended to provide a more secure environment
surrounding
ATMs.
