development. Nowadays, people are also trying to improve the accuracy of biometric

Biometric can be used for three different but related applications: [2]
Authentication –
compare
a
person’s
biometric
data
with
a
specific
biometric
data template.
Identification –
identify
someone
based
on
the
biometric
data
that
he/she
has.
This application
needs to store biometric samples
in order to compare
it
with the
person’s biometric data.
Uniqueness -
makes sure that each person is only registered once. This can be
achieved as a person cannot change his/her biometric data.
