banking or Internet banking as follows:
Electronic
banking
aims
to
provide
easy
access to
banking
services
for
customers.
Both
banks
and
customers
stand
to
benefit
from the
introduction
of
electronic

schemes,
since
the
bank
can
offer
its
services
at
much
lower
cost,
while
the
customer
can
access
the
services
from
any
location
at
any
time.

How
the
banks
handle
their
Internet
business
Based on Europe perspective, they find that there are four motives for banks to change
their business to online business (Anonymous 2000): First, The banks are convinced about
the increasing of Internet banking. Second, the banks have to be attractive in anticipating
the changes of operations. Third, they need to confront the existing offline competitors.
Fourth, online business is a required strategy for the banks' shareholders.
The four ways, which are performed by banks to handle their Internet business
(Anonymous 2000)
comprise:
1. Pure Internet banking.
The Internet banking
is
not a supplement of
the offline parent
banks but it is entirely separated from banks.
2. Online
hybrids.

as,
