In
fact,
IS
effectiveness comprise
more
than
the
UIS
criterion.
As
stated
by
Melone
(1990)
that
there
seems
to
be
no
clear
explanation
or
theoretical
model
for
using
UIS
as
a
surrogate
indicator
of
IS
effectiveness.
Weill
and
Olson
(1989)
have
argued
that
IS
effectiveness
is
a
multidimensional concept.
Delone
and
McLean
(1992)
support
this
idea,
suggesting
that
IS
effectiveness is
probable
to
be
more
than
single
measure.
(Quoted in Grover, Jeong
&
Segars 1996, p178)
These authors argue
that
UIS
is
the
important
indicator of
IS
effectiveness. Moreover, they
note
that
the
construct space
for
effectiveness criteria
is
needed
to
extend
the
IS
success
Model. (Grover,
Jeong
&
Segars
1996, p178)
