2.1 Defining of Shopping Center
Most of people tends to spend their time over the weekends by doing
activities at
home, shopping, recreation or both of
them shopping
and also recreation.
Shopping and recreational activities may be performed when the particular people are
visiting shopping centers, because
in
general shopping center or popularly known as
mall, beside provides
various consumer products also offering services, value,
comfort and entertainment
in
the one
location. Shopping center or mall could be also
defined as:

Mercantile establishment consisting of
a carefully landscaped complex of
shops representing leading merchandisers; a modern versions of the
traditional
marketplace;
a
good
plaza
should have a movie house; they spent
their weekends at the local malls
-
A public area set aside as a pedestrian walk.
Shopping centers are generally to serve
various levels or class of people and
Shopping
centers
could
be
also
classify
its visitors by targeting or segmenting its
visitor
from economic
factors,
since
the
said
shopping
centers
only
provided
a
classified products to be consumed by only certain level of people.
