Library Cafe

This is a place where library users may eat and study. Rules apply for books used in this area.

Regulation Library Cafe

1. Library Café Area Utilization
   
   1. Drinks/Foods from outside library are strictly prohibited.
   2. Food sold inside the Café area must be consumed within the Library Café premises only.
   3. Throw the wrappers/bottles/glasses in the trash bin.
   4. Don’t move table and chairs set by library.
2. Library Café Borrowing Systems
   
   1. Books which are intended to bring inside Library Café are must be borrowed using the autoborrowing machine.
   2. Only Text and Tandon books are allowed inside the Library Café area.
   3. Restricted and Reference books strictly within the library’s reading area use only.
   4. Loaned books must be returned to Circulation staff
   5. Damaged book while inside the Library Café area will be the liability of the borrower as stated in the library system.
   6. Student’s can borrow a maximum of two (2) titles of books while inside the Library Café area.
   7. Book(s) borrowed in the Library Café area is not allowed to be borrowed for home use.
   8. In case, the book(s) were accidentally or intentionally taken home by the borrower he/she will be charge of n2 x scale of fines (the amount of fine depends on the type of membership) unlimited penalty. n = day of the penalty Example:
      
      1. S1 Student’s
         The day of book carried home: 2 day
         Charge: 22x Rp. 1000,- = Rp. 4000,-
      2. S2 Student’s
         The day of book carried home: 2 day
         Charge: 22 x Rp. 2000,- = Rp. 8000,-
      3. Alumni
         The day of book carried home: 2 day
         Charge: 22 x Rp. 5000,- = Rp. 20.000,-
         
      Reminder : Fines is unlimited !
   9. Subscribed Magazines/Journals are strictly not allowed inside the Library Café area, such as Gatra, Swa Sembada, Architectural Record, Chip, Info Computer, etc.
   10. JWC library members must borrow the books to the Circulation Staff
   11. Librarian has the right to exclude other materials allowed in the café area depends on their significance
   12. Original or photocopy books if found damaged or parts were omitted, the borrower must replace the book with the original
