Lost And Found
Found Items
Found items in the Library are taken to Library manager’s office, where they are tagged with the current date and entered into the Lost & Found logbook, also an announcement will be made when there’s a found item.
If an item has any identifying information (student IDs, books or notebooks with names written in them, wallets, purses, etc.), the Library staff will attempts to contact the owner via phone or campus email. Found items are kept for approximately 1 month in library manager’s office. After this time, if the materials have not been claimed, the item will be turned over to the University security office.
Lost Item
If you wish to report an item lost, you can do so by approaching our library staff, calling 62-21-5350660 ext. 1167, 1165, 1163, or emailing library@binus.edu. Please include a specific description of what was lost, along with your name, phone number, and/or email address. This information will be entered into the Lost & Found logbook. If items are returned to library our staff will match the materials returned in and the owner will be notified via phone or email
Presumed Stolen
If you believe you have had items stolen from you in the library, please inform our library staff, they will help you contact the security officer.
