(Kompas, 2012). From the data gathered there are several popular online FPS games
in Indonesia firstly are Point Blank, secondly Cross Fire and last but not least is
the Counter Strike Online (Mulyadi, 2010), (Indogamers, 2011), (Soe, 2012),
(Kompas, 2012), (Hajirama1, 2012), (Adam, 2013), (Kotakgame, 2013), (Game8,
2013).
2.1.3.1 Point Blank
Point Blank was first developed by a Korean game developer called Zipetto and by
2009 was introduced to Indonesia by PT. Kreon and trough Gemscool gaming
portal which also serves several types of games with different genres (Gemscool,
2014).
Point Blank is an Online FPS game where first develops mimicking a previously
famous multiplayer FPS game Counter Strike which lose its popularity in
Indonesia. Point Blank did not mimic 100% of Counter Strike but also gives
additional features where firstly it gives users the capability to use female character
and also give an additional interesting concept which is avatars where users could
