game. The missions are also different and interesting such as “Bomb Kill”, “Double
Headshot” and other to get badges to promote. When user is promoted user could
choose which type of gameplay users what where tittle are separated to dif ferent
paths where one go with assault rifle and another for snipers where these tittles give a
character different advantages in the game for example when a character chose
sniper path users get better range weapon damage which gives user higher damage
when shooting from range and other advantage for different paths. These additional
features in the game keep the game interesting and not the same each time user plays
(Gmgeneral78, 2011).
Not long after the first release of the game, in July of 2009 the first official PB’s
tournament is held 2 days from 2nd July to 5th July 2009 (Pbarena, 2013). With the
increase in popularity, in 21st November 2009 the first “PBNC”, Point Blank
National Competition is organized, an official nationwide tournament held at several
big cities across Indonesia. The elimination round and the grand final of the
tournament in Jakarta cr eated a record participation of 88 team conducted at “Mall of
Indonesia” Jakarta January 2010 (Conny, 2010). Later in 2010 point blank Indonesia
have nearly 2 million active users gathered from registr ations, this made Indonesia
the largest point blank player in the world, comparing to South Korea, Thailand and
Russia the main servers of Point Blank (Mulyadi, A, 2010).
This year 2014 the 5th PBNC will be held of 29th March till 22nd July 2014. The
largest online game tournament in Indonesia, 33 cities across Indonesia participate
