tournament which is hosted by the developer in the world. Participants came from all
over the world with a massive 70 countries with teams competing on PBNC of their
country and champions from each respective country are invited to PBIC where each
champions are fighting for “champion of the champions” (Fps-pb, 2014).
2.1.3.2 Cross Fire
Cross Fire was developed by Korean game developer Neowiz Games and Smilegate
and expanded to Indonesia through game company “PT. LYTO Datarindo Fortuna”
the biggest game publisher in Indonesia consisting of many different famous genres
of MMO games. Cross Fire was released to Indonesia public at late 2009 after Point
Blank Indonesia released.
With the rise of online FPS gamer in Indonesia “PT LYTO” decided to release this
game on November 2009 (Heriyanto, 2009). Cross Fire comes with its own
uniqueness to differ themselves from other online FPS competitors. Players of Cross
Fire can chose character of their choice firstly from the infamous OMOH of the
Russian, great SWAT from the US, SAS of the Great Britain, Women Secret Agent
of the SPOP and last but not least the GSG9 of Germany (CrossFire, 2014). This
make players feel like they are in a fraction of elite force. Cross Fire also comes with
many different type and manufactures of weapon, where users can pick weapon
suited to their playing style. Another feature of the game also come with ranking
system where players with high ranking are more respected than new players which
