important of education as the basic knowledge can be learned by having several
years of school. It might influence their career later in field of jobs.
From the citation above, Bourdieu states that education is important for
people to get their status and class position in the society. He shows that
education is the important things to attend because education gives people skill,
knowledge and important information which are required in their job and career.
These three kinds of people have given answer about the economic
differences and problem between age and gender. For example if it is female or
children, they would be paid less than men. In Bourgeoisie, individual citizens
pursue their own particular interests in competition with and at the expense of
other citizens.
There are three kinds of classes that relate to previous paragraph which
tell about kinds of people in society. They are
low class, middle class and high
class. Low class belongs to poor people who work as slave, maid, servant and
labor. For them who stay in middle class, it means that they work as employees,
have some property and also known enough by public. Those who belong to high
class are people who have their own property such as land, company, power and
any expensive things which low and middle class people do not have. This social
class is about human condition since there is no equality for people who work
and work under the other persons rules. Class struggle exists because of this
point of view and especially for those who are not satisfied with things that they
have. From these three classes, Marx hopes that people can look equal from their
status, social background and no classes in the society.
