Theoretical Foundation
2.1.1.          Games’ Artificial Intelligence Categories:
Recalling
from
the
previous
definitions of
Artificial
Intelligence
as
well
its
areas
of
implementation
within
the
custom-made
MMORPG,
the
development
of
Artificial
Intelligence
in this thesis project
falls
into two categories, which are as an animat and
also as machine intelligence and set of technology.
2.1.1.1. 
Animat
Unlike
other
kinds
of
programming, games
programming
is
unique
because
it
adapts
and
combines theories and
concepts
from
different
aspects
or
areas
of
specialization, especially
art
and
science.
“Games
are
as
much
art
as
they
are
science
[4]”.
At
the
general
view,
most
games
employ
the
concept
of
time
and
space,  although  this  will 
not 
necessarily  true  on  classic 
games  with  simple
interface,
like
PacMan.
For
instance,
the
infamous
Square-Enix multi-platform
RPG, Final Fantasy, has varies worlds or maps that takes place in a particular time,
which
are  created
based
on  the  storyline
or  plot’s
setting
in  which
they  are
